Sara Aziz
Founder and President
Sara is president and founder of Safe Kids Egypt. She is a master’s degree holder in psychotherapy and she is pursuing her second master’s degree in community psychology. She is a certified child abuse consultant and trainer with more than thirteen years of experience in implementing and leading projects related to child protection, sexual and gender-based violence and gender equality. She is also a member of the youth committee in the National Council for Women.
Mariam Dawoud
Team-leader and Manager
Mariam is a certified psychotherapist with over 3000 hours of counselling. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in in psychotherapy, and a specialized diploma in counselling survivors of sexual abuse. She is also pursuing her master’s degree in psychotherapy. As a counselor with a passion to support people, Mariam works with adolescents and adults who have survived traumas related to child sexual abuse and violence. She is also keen about helping people who are struggling with different sorts of addictions to achieve their therapy goals.
